Ambedkar Mission Society Punjab honoured Dr. RS PRAVEEN KUMAR at Ambedkar Bhawan, Jalandhar

 

Jalandhar (Samaj Weekly)- Ambedkar Mission Society Punjab (Regd.) organized a meeting at a very short notice to honor Dr. RS PRAVEEN KUMAR (IPS ADGP Telangana state) at Ambedkar Bhawan, Dr. Ambedkar Marg (Nakodar Road), Jalandhar on 17th October, 2020. Dr. RS PRAVEEN KUMAR is self made man, he is scholar educated from Harvard University and he is an IPS Officer , Secretary of TSWREIS & TTWREIS & Founder member of SWAEROES. Dr Praveen Kumar is widely known as the brain behind the success story of the Everest conquerors Malavath Purna and Sandhanapalli Anand Kumar. Malavath Purna, a 13-year-old tribal student from Nizamabad district in Telangana state, created a spine-tingling history on 25th May, 2014 by becoming the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest, and Anand Kumar is the first boy from APSWREIS to scale Mount Everest. He is also the founder of SWAEROES

Representatives of various societies/organizations attended this meeting. Dr Praveen Kumar addressed the meeting on the topic ‘Promotion of education and social issues’. He also gave the answers to the questions of the audience. Ambedkar Mission Society honoured him with a Loyee and Bukke. Prominent Ambedkarite, thinker and writer, Editor Bheem Patrika Shri L R Balley gave his blessings and his Autobiography ‘Ambedkari Hone ka Arath’ to Dr. Praveen Kumar.

Among others, Dr G C Kaul (General Secretary, Ambedkar Bhawan Trust, Jalandhar), Mr. Sohan Lal DPI Colleges (Retd.), Baldev Raj Bhardwaj, Advocate Kuldip Bhatti, Advocate Harbhajan Sampla, Harmesh Jassal, Ex MLA Darshan Lal Jethumajara, Jaswinder Wariana, Jagdish Deesha, Param Dass Heer, Janak Raj Chohan, Rajinder Rana, Rakesh Mahi, Ginni Mahi, Renu Samrat and Priya Lakha were present on this occasion. Madam Sudesh Kalyan (President, Ambedkar Mission Society Punjab passed a vote of thanks and the program was conducted very efficiently by Mr. Varinder Kumar General Secretary of the Society.
