In Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s Remembrance
(Samaj Weekly)- Dr Ambedkar Ji was a Naag Vanshi meaning a true native of India. The hatred since many centuries has created severe poverty amongst the native families. Even Dr. Ambedkar Ji’s family also fell victim to this.
His grandfather and his father Shree Ram Ji Sakval, they both had served in the British Army and were finding hard to meet ends. The Indian History does contain chapters on how the pain was inflicted upon the natives through the Brahmin injustice.
If Dr Ambedkar Ji’s family was struggling following two members employment in the British Army then what was the condition of the other poverty-stricken natives of that time. Dr. Ambedkar’s statements on his struggles show that how much he had struggled in his life.
His family lived in one room. It served as kitchen, living and sleeping room. He could not study during the day so he used to study at night when everyone was fast asleep. His father stayed awake till two in the morning and at two am he woke Bhim Rao for his studies and then went to bed. From two am, Bhim Rao studied till he went to school. This was their daily routine.
Bhim Rao used an oil lamp for his study but when he went to school in the morning, in the class, he fell victim to hatred against him. He was powerless to respond in any manner but even under such conditions he kept tuned to his studies.
A Brahmin teacher sympathised with his situation. He was very helpful and considerate towards him. His kindness impressed Bhim Rao and he adopted his name Ambedkar. This has been shown in the Ek Maha-nayak – Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar episodes and millions have watched this programme.
Bhim’s family surname is Sakpal. He was born in Ambawadekar village and now there are two new claims. The first is that when he was enrolled in the village school, the registrar mistakenly registered Ambedkar instead of Ambawadekar and has become Dr Bhim Rao’s surname.
The second claim is that when he joined his village school, his father instead of Sakpal he registered Ambedkar as his surname. These two new claims have now opened a new chapter into Dr Ambedkar’s childhood.
The story in the past has always been that Bhim Rao in gratitude to a Brahmin teacher has used Ambedkar name but now following investigations by Raj Rattan (Dr Ambedkar’s great grandson) these new claims have come to light. If these were raised when the Ek Maha-nayak episodes were being shown, this would have attracted a lot of attention. Raj Rattan Ji’s claim is based upon available evidences.
Under the present circumstances, airing of this find is going to harm the solidarity present to save the Constitution. Many Brahmins are also opposing the BJP’s agenda and are standing in saving of the Constitution.
For all, saving of the Constitution is main priority thus how Ambedkar name has come around will have to be put aside. This can be addressed after the Constitution is saved. Ambedkar name will remain only if the Constitution remains.
The freedom, the both genders in India are enjoying now has come through the Indian Constitution drafted by Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Ji.
So now it depends on all to come forward and solidify unity to stop uprising of dictatorship through which the Indian Constitution is being weakened to introduce Manusmirity in its place.
Dr Ambedkar’s given Constitution needs to be kept for the sake of India’s progress. Without it, India is going to roll back thousands of years. Where the whole world is moving forward, the present Government is taking India back into ancient times.
Dr Ambedkar’s struggles and strives must not be forgotten those he has endured to bring equality and fairness in India. His statues are being erected worldwide but unfortunately his statues in India are being damaged or destroyed by some who are under influence of the uprising dictatorship in India.
Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s Birth Anniversary will be celebrated in Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir, Bedford on the 5th May 2024. As usual a lot of people from near and afar will be coming to pay their respect.
All the Indians living abroad are deeply concerned in the manner the situation is developing in India. Nearly all have their close relations in India and are extremely worried about their safety and their future if Manusmirity takes over.
The trust in Mr Modi Ji has been damaged and the BJP is bending laws to suit them. Through their washing machine the sinners are becoming sin free. Every day is a different day in India. No one knows what is around the corner.
Speakers will be sharing their views on this. Late Mr. Chahal will be remembered. His contribution in promoting of Dr Ambedkar movement in England cannot be forgotten. He was from Bedford.
Finally, I salute to Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Ji for putting his lifelong effort to establish equality in India. Without his Constitution India would not have progressed to where it is now.
So, saving of the Constitution falls on all. Religious barriers and the caste differences will have to be overcome only then the Constitution can be saved. The organisations in the foreign will have to become active because India needs their action now.
Jai Bharat
