KUDOS TO THE PEOPLE FOR SAVING DEMOCRACY DESPITE ALL MACHINATIONS OF THE RULING BJP. IT IS NOT A LOSS BUT GAIN TO DEMOCRACY; IT IS NOT A GLOW BUT BLOW TO Mr. MODI
The power of the people should never be under-estimated and they cannot be fooled for ever in the name of religion, castes and divisive politics. People of India have proved they are wise enough to reject the fascist BJP despite all the machinations adopted with their abuse of all powers against the oppositions. Notional (not National) Democratic Alliance has managed through all their misdeeds such as blatant violations of Model Code of Conduct and the Representation of the People Act, 1951 with the blessings of the CEC & ECs – the BJP Nominees who were extending the largesse of partisan to BJP, closing their eyes to large scale deletion of voters from the electoral rolls, bogus voting, malfunctioning/ defective EVMs favorable only to BJP, hijacking and destroying the EVMs and the alleged replacement of EVMs after voting, raiding the opposition leaders in a cowardly manner by employing ED, IT, CBI etc., and imprisoning the most important leaders like Mr. Manish Sisodia, Mr. Hemant Soren, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Ms. Kavitha and Mr. Sanjay Singh among others during the crucial period of General Elections and freezing of Bank Accounts of the Congress party and so on and so forth with the muteness on the part of the Supreme Court when “The Chief Election Commissioners & Election Commissioners (Appointment ,Condition of Service & Term of Office) Bill, 2023” was passed only to throw the Honorable Chief Justice of India away from the Committee proposed in their judgment dt 02.03.2023 in Anoop Barnawal Vs UOI for fair and just appointment of CEC and ECs. Al these misdeeds have got the stamp of covert/ overt approval from the highest Constitutional Organs. Yet, the people have shown their wisdom to the extent possible and the oppositions have reasonably gained, though not to dethrone Modi regime.
CONGRESS’ MAGNANIMITY, PARTICULARLY THE GREATNESS OF Mrs. SONIA GANDHI AND Mr. RAHUL GANDHI
As a thorn in the foot has to be removed by another thorn, now the I.N.D.I.A should explore other possibility to prevent BJP from forming Govt so that the already mangled India could be saved from its sure death. Since Independence, not a single SC/ST (Dalit) has occupied the position of Prime Minister. The golden opportunity available to Babu Jagjivan Ram was thwarted by the revengeful President Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy and another opportunity looks like an Utopian dream. Hence, the I.N.D.I.A, particularly Mrs.Sonia Gandhi, who could not become the Prime Minister due to the machination of BJP or RSS or Brahmanical forces through its dumb-driven President Abdul Kalam, was gracious and magnanimous enough to make Mr. P. V. Narasimha Rao and subsequently Dr. Manmohan Singh as PMs. BJP, true its ‘chameleonism’, has appointed Mr. Ram Nath Kovind and Mrs Droupati Murmu as Presidents not because of their love for SCs and STs but because the letter would blindly toe the lines of BJP unlike Mr. K. R. Narayanan, the most sagacious President India has ever seen and the credit certainly goes to Indian National Congress! The Congress party’s great thinking in making Mr. Mallikarjuna Kharge is laudable unlike Mr. Bangaru Laxmanan whom the BJP made President of the party only to finish him off later with its own conspiratorial tactics. As Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar said, “A wise society does not judge its members by caste, but by their character and ability” and Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge possesses all these sterling qualities.
I.N.D.I.A HAS ENERGIZED INDIA:
Similarly, the Congress, particularly Mr. Rahul Gandhi, who has energized and revitalized the I.N.D.I.A Bloc, of course along with other leaders of various parties, with his personal stress and strain and sacrificial Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Nyay Yatra and brought this level of laurel to Indian Democracy, a man of simplicity, accessibility and free-from-egoism and bigotry and interested in saving India and Indian Constitution, having soft-corner to empower around 80% of the SCs ,STs, OBCs and Minorities and the rising star of India, can moot the idea of making Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge as Prime Ministerial candidate and this idea has got all the potentials of dislodging Narendra Modi-Amit Shah combine which means RSS-BJP combine. Mr. Rahul Gandhi is undoubtedly an eminent man and now he should emerge as a great man and a King Maker! “A great man is different from an eminent one in that he is ready to be the servant of the society”- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Surely, the leaders of the National and Regional parties would rethink and redesign their political strategy and even the partners in NDA may desert NDA and join I.N.D.I.A for saving themselves from the clutches and servility of the BJP and assert themselves. Other MPs who have won including Independents would turn wise enough to join I.N.D.IA. All these leaders are worried much for saving Indian Constitution, Federalism, cultures and languages of their respective States/Regions and their own individual identities from the unabated onslaughts of the current dictatorial regime.
OTHER LEADERS WILL CERTAINLY RETHINK FOR THE GOODNESS OF INDIA:
Leaders like Ms. Mamata Banerjee, Mr. N.Chandra Babu Nadu, Mr. Nitish Kumar. Mr. M. K. Stalin, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Pinaroy Vijayan, Mr. Naveen Patnaik, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Communist Leaders and others would be wise enough to accept the above proposal of making Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge as Prime Minister as he is a very senior leader, seasoned and reasoned politician with laudable political maturity and nuances, accessibility to all, wedded to the democratic ideals as enshrined in the Constitution with great respect for Federalism and other fellow leaders. He has demonstrated all these qualities during the Parliamentary debates. Furthermore, he is a multi-linguist capable of speaking English, Hindi, Kannada, Urdu, Telugu and Marathi, Wisdom will dawn on Ms. Mayawati too. For every political party, the vote-bank of SCs and STs is certainly as important as of others and they can’t simply ignore this fact, at least while looking through the political prism in the current scenario.
THOUGHT-PROCESS SHOULD NOT BE STATIC
Undoubtedly, Mr.Rahul Gandhi deserves a lot for steering the country and he will and should be there as the inevitable guiding factor and a force to save and enliven the Democracy. “Prevention is better than cure” and preventing BJP from the continued abuse and misuse of power for its chosen crony-capitalists is much more important. The current fluid political scenario is taken into consideration. I have also received calls from some Brahmins, who are democrats and good-souled persons of intellect (not perverted intellectuals) on the above line of thought-process. As Dr. B. R. Ambedkar has rightly said thought-process of a man cannot be static. After all “Man is a thinking animal”- Aristotle. Let us hope the minds of the I.N.D.I.A leaders and other partneres of NDA rise above any sectarianism for the sake of INDIA known for its UNITY IN DIVERSITY and dislodge the fascist regime once and for all without losing the golden opportunity. If we miss this opportunity, the fascist BJP will employ all means to crush the oppositions and the people and will try re-bounce in the next election with full majority by any means and by hook or crook with the perverted intellectual bureaucrats and judges (not all) in its pockets. Let us learn the lessons from the past misdeeds and misadventures of the BJP regime. All the non-BJP political parties, particularly Janata Dal (U), Telugu Desam Party and Biju Janata Dal have got a great duty to save India from it getting pushed back to 1000 years!
