It is very sad that Former Justice Mr. S.P. Bangar left for Heavenly Abode. He was known for his Honesty, Devotion and Land Mark Judgments in the Judiciary Right from the Lower Judiciary up to the Higher Judiciary. This is an irreparable loss to the family and society. He would be remembered for al long time to come.

Former Justice Mr. S.P. Bangar left for Heavenly Abode
Justice Bangar retired as Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He remained Distt and Session Judge of Ludhiana and Amritsar before his elevation to High Court of Punjab & Haryana Chandigarh, NGO PAGAAM said.
After retirement, he was actively associated with PAGAAM an NGO working for the welfare of SC and OBC people of Punjab.
Bangar was born in Nawanshahr district of Punjab. His daughter is a judicial officer in Punjab and his son is a senior officer in Central Government. A thorough gentleman and honest officer throughout his life he was respected by one and all.
PAGAAM said that Justice Bangar Throughout his life stood for justice and upheld Ambedkarite Values.
Till yesterday he was live on the Facebook showing his 13.6 Kms of running.
May his soul rest in peace. May God grant courage to the family to bear this unbearable loss.

The cremation of the mortal remains of Justice (Retired) Shri Sat Pal Bangar, Former Judge of the High Court for the States of Punjab and Haryana and keen Marathoner & Cycler shall take place day after tomorrow i. e. on 02.07.2020 at Crematorium situated at Banga Road, Phagwara at about 11.00 A.M.
