6 shot dead in Bangladesh poll violence

Rangamati: Unidentified gunmen have shot dead at least six people, including polls officials, after the end of voting in the second phase of Upazila Parishad elections in Rangamati district of Bangladesh on March 18, 2019.

Dhaka,  At least six persons, including four law enforcers and an election official, were shot dead and 16 others injured in Bangladesh’s Chittagong Hill tract on Monday, a police officer told Xinhua news agency.
