Yemen’s Houthi delegation leaves for Stockholm peace talks

Sana’a,   Yemen’s Houthi rebel negotiators accompanied by visiting UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, left rebel-held capital Sana’a for Stockholm on Tuesday on a Kuwaiti plane to attend upcoming peace talks.

Griffiths arrived in the Yemeni capital a day earlier during which he met rebel leaders, including Head of Houthi Higher Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, Xinhua news agency reported.

The apparent breakthrough came a day after the Saudi-led coalition allowed the evacuation of 50 wounded rebels from Sana’a to Oman on a UN-chartered plane for medical treatment.
