Geopolitics
Valmiki community are flooding the streets of Koppal, thousands strong, their rage is boiling over after watching Gavisiddappa Nayaka butchered in front of a mosque.
This is not a mere protest, this is an explosion of fury against centuries of oppression, murder, and the criminal indifference of a system that treats as less than human. Days of begging and pleading are gone. It demands justice, and will not be silenced.
The Weight of History
The community is branded as the “lowest of the low” – the untouchables that even other Dalits look down upon. For generations, the dominant castes have forced them into the filthiest work, cleaning their shit and garbage, then turned around and called them as “unclean.” They built their temples and then barred the community from entering. Constitutional protections? What a cruel joke! They are still sweepers, still the manual scavengers, still dying in sewers while the same politicians who promised equality refuse to let them sit at their table.
When the culprits slaughtered Gavisiddappa in front of a mosque, they weren’t just killing him – they were sending a blood-soaked message to valmiki community. “This is what happens when you forget your place.” The location was deliberate, calculated, designed to humiliate and terrorize. They wanted the community to see Gavisiddappa blood spilled on ground, to remind that Valmilkis are nothing, that their lives are worthless, that they exist only at their mercy.
The Familiar Pattern of Neglect
Valmiki’s are sick to death of the same rotten pattern that plays out every time they murder:
1. Justice Denied Always
They drag their feet, lose evidence, claim “insufficient proof.” The killers walk free every single time.
2. Politicians Who Sell Out
These cowards depend on upper caste votes, so they abandon the oppressed the moment it gets difficult. Reports say local leaders are actually protecting Gavisiddappa’s killers. They take the community votes, then stab them in the back.
3. Police Who Serve Their Masters
The entire system is rigged against the Dalits. They investigate the murders like they’re doing Dalits a favour, while bending over backwards to protect upper caste criminals.
Beyond Individual Tragedy
Gavisiddappa’s murder cruelly exposes about “modern India” and “development for all.” It exposes the brutal truth that Dalits are still considered subhuman. A young man dared to love someone outside his caste and they executed him for it. This wasn’t about a “relationship gone wrong” – this was a public murder designed to terrorize every Valmiki who dares to dream of equality.
The Cry for Dignity
The demand for an NIA probe isn’t a request – it’s an ultimatum. All too often it is seen how local investigations protect the powerful while throwing dalits under the bus. All faith is lost in trusting a system designed to crush.
Constitutional Promises, Ground Realities
The Constitution for dominant caste is nothing but toilet paper to them – useful for wiping their asses before they flush dalit rights down the drain. They provide “special provisions” to silence the dalits, then make sure those provisions were meaningless in practice. Since independence, and dalits still dying in sewers, still being beaten for entering temples, still being murdered for daring to love outside the caste.
Demand for Justice
The valmiki’s are demanding:
1. Immediate arrest of all conspirators, not just the ones they caught
2. Public prosecution that doesn’t cave to upper caste pressure
3. Admission that this was a hate crime, not some “personal dispute” bullshit
4. An end to the police protection racket for caste killers
Valmiki’s don’t want sympathy or prayer. They just want justice.
