Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 cases rise to 235

Colombo, (Samajweekly) Sri Lanka on Wednesday reported two more COVID-19 cases, taking the total count of such cases in the country to 235, the Health Ministry said.

According to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 165 active cases are under medical care at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Welikanda Base Hospital, Colombo East Base Hospital and Iranawila Hospital, adaderana.lk reported.

Sri Lanka has also confirmed that a total of 63 people have so far been discharged. The island nation has had 7 fatalities due to COVID-19 so far.
