(Samaj Weekly)- Sh. Jaspreet Singh IAS (ADC Jalandhar & Registrar IKGPTU) released the Calendar of Bodhisatva Ambedkar Public Senior Secondary School, Phoolpur Dhanal Jalandhar. This School is being run by Bodhisatva Ambedkar Education Society under Mission Pay back to Society to impart education to rural and underprivileged sections of the society. In the meeting, Mr. M.R Sallan, President of the Society introduced the various social initiatives and schools run in other states by the Society.
The Calendar was released with the objective of introducing the Great personalities of India who had done exceptional work in uplifting the depressed sections of society and had played important role in bringing revolutionary reform in social, cultural, economic and political life of these sections. The Calendar depicted the life and contribution of Gautam Buddha, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Ravidass Ji, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mata Savitribai Phule, Jyotiba Phule, Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj, Baba Jiwan Singh Ji,and others. Sh. Jaspreet Singh IAS appreciated the selfless service of the Society towards Nation’s goal of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. Satnam Chana, Dr. Satbir Singh (Associate Prof.), Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Rajneesh Sharma (PRO), Dr. Sandeep Mehmi (Deputy Registrar), Mr. Paramjit Gill (Deputy Registrar), Mr. Naresh Kumar (Deputy Registrar), Mr. Joginder Singh (Deputy Registrar) and others were present in the meeting.
