Punjab sets up helpline for Indians stuck in Ukraine

Confusion in front of Indian students amid Ukraine-Russia dispute

Chandigarh, (Samajweekly) The Punjab government on Friday said it has set up a dedicated round-the-clock control room to help people from the state stuck up in war-hit Ukraine.

An official spokesperson said the affected people or their relatives could call from within Punjab on helpline number 1100 and others from outside India on +91-172-4111905 for seeking information in this regard.

The queries on the helpline numbers would be immediately forwarded to the Ministry of External Affairs for evacuation of persons.
