New Delhi, It was misty and hazy morning on Wednesday in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 16 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
“There was mist in the morning with mainly clear sky. Haze and smoke was noticed thereafter,” an India Meteorological Department official said.
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 per cent.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature settled at 30.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 16.5 degree Celsius, one notch above the season’s average.
