Junior training programme for golf concludes

New Delhi,  Ayesha Gupta, Anushka Gupta, Insha Siddhiqui, Vicky Kumar and Vikas Kumar took away maximum number of prizes as the 33rd Usha Junior Training Programme for golf ended here at Delhi Golf Club on Friday.

Usha International has been associated with the Programme since 2006 with the aim of introducing golf to youngsters between 8 to 17 years and also discovering and nurturing talented juniors.

Ayesha, Anushka, Insha, Vicky and Vikas won in various categories like Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Bunker, Long Drive, and Playing competitions.

Fifty talented youngsters in the fourth camp were inducted into the game by Mr. Jasjit Singh, Class ‘A’ Professional from National Golf Academy of India & PGA of India, Former National Coach & High Performance Manager, IGU.

The 33rd Usha Junior Training Programme was divided into four 10-day camps starting May 13, May 23, June 2, and June 12, respectively.

All participating kids were trained on the different aspects of the game under the guidance of well-known Category-A coaches, Ajay Gupta, Vikram Sethi, Nonita Lall Qureshi, and Jasjit Singh.
