International Women’s Club Switzerland Chapter, Honored Extraordinary Women on 28 June 2020 from Geneva City, Switzerland

Prof. Bhumika Gupta from France and President of International Women’s Club described about different chapters of IWC in different nations. She said “each one – teach one” is the main motto of IWC.

Ms. Michele Boulade from Geneva City, as president of the International Women’s Club Switzerland Chapter, welcomed all the participants. She also explained the vision of IWC, Switzerland and described the future activities in detail.

The Chief Guest, His Excellency Shri Satbir Singh, the Ambassador of India to Algeria, said that “if we teach man we teach an individual, but when we teach a woman we teach the whole family”, and he also encouraged the participants to understand the importance of women’s leadership for the development of any Nation. Women can play an important role in any crisis situations at local, national and international levels.

He also honored the following international personalities for their remarkable achievements in their concerned fields.

At end of the event Mrs. Isha kalia (IAS, India), Ms. Marianela Corte (Portugal) and Prof. Nishtha Jaswal, Vice Chancellor, (HP State), also spoken about the contributions of women’s leadership at the international level. Around 300 people attended this event including 200 women from different nations. In this informative event the participants came from over 20 different countries among which namely India, Ghana, USA, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE and Singapore.

Ms. Michele Boulade from Geneva City, as president of the International Women’s Club Switzerland Chapter, strongly felt that the International Women’s Club Switzerland will always provide the best international platform for women where they can discuss many issues related to women empowerment at local, national and international level and she congratulated all the
awardees.
