(Samaj Weekly)- Enjoying wonderful and historical work ‘Forgotten Muslim Empires of South India’ written by dear friend Syed Ubaidur Rahman . It consists beautiful narratives of Bahraini Empire, Madurai, Bijapur, Ahmadnagar, Golconda &Mysore Sultanates. I will be writing a detailed review of it in the coming days. I want to congratulate Syed bhai for this historical work. At the moment when history is being ‘developed ‘through WhatsApp and false narratives this book takes you to some of the glorious chapters of our history. Of course, it is not necessary for any historical work to look beautiful or glorious because history actually chronicles certain period but fact is that history today is a powerful tool to fix our future.
