Erdogan, Trump hold phone call on Libya issue

Ankara, (Samajweekly) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his US counterpart Donald Trump held a phone conversation over the Libya issue, Turkey’s Communications Directorate said in a statement.

The two leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional developments, including the Libyan crisis, according to the statement on Monday, Xinhua news agency reported.

They agreed to continue their close cooperation to promote peace and stability in Libya, Turkey’s maritime neighbour.
