COVID-19: 5 new cases push Karnataka’s tally to 395

Bengaluru, (Samajweekly) Karnataka reported five new coronavirus positive cases in the past 19 hours, raising the state’s tally of such cases to 395, an official said on Monday.

“Till date 395 positive cases have been confirmed, including 16 deaths and 111 discharged patients,” said a health official.

In the past 19 hours, no discharge of any cured patient was reported across the state.

Five new patients include four male and one female. Boys aged 13 and 17 are among these patients. All are from Kalaburagi.

All five new cases are contacts of earlier cases.
