Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s government announced to set up a trust for construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The proposed trust is to have 15 members, including one Dalit.
The dalit women and men are not safe in the state of Uttar Pradesh under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Dalits are further marginalized by the Yogi government. Police under the nose of Yogi government is committing heinous crimes against the poor and marginalized Dalits.
The number of landless Dalits in India is increasing day by day since all the government and private land is usurped by the Hindus in all states of India. Dalits are not allowed to go to the Hindu temples even in 21st century. Dalits are beaten mercilessly by the goons of the RSS/ Bajrang Dal under the protection of Modi government. Dalits are not allowed to take marriage procession in the Hindu localities. If they dare to file an FIR against the Hindu criminals who stop marriage procession undertaken by Dalits, they do not get legal protection but penalized by the Police department which works under the patronage of Brahmin Police.
Since 2014, atrocities against Dalits under the Modi government increased manifold. The prevailing atmosphere in the country under the Modi government is not safe for dalits. The cancer of caste and untouchability is taken by the Hindus to the rest of the world. The Hindu society is a sick society. It is no use of joining a sick society. It is, therefore, a dalit must not accept a trusteeship of Ram Mandir trust.
Babasaheb writes “It is sad that it was done in the name of religion. But for those who have understood Brahminism, there is no need to despair. Brahminism uses religion as a front for its greed and for selfish political gains.’ This Brahminism became part of the Hindu religion and for thousands of years forced shudras, ati-shudras and women to lead a hellish life.
