Nawanshahr, (Samajweekly) (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler ): Demonstrating great activity in the political and social spheres, the prominent social service organization of the region, ‘Doon Gujjar Welfare Sabha Dooni’, organized a special event. The leaders and office-bearers of the Sabha specially visited Ropar to hold a meeting with the newly appointed District President of the Aam Aadmi Party, Advocate Sanjeev Chaudhary Chechi, and the prominent leader and Chairman of Market Committee Balachaur, Sethi Udhanwal. During this, the Sabha specially honored Advocate Sanjeev Chaudhary Chechi for his excellent services to the party and his new responsibility by presenting him with a Siropa (robe of honor) and a memento, and extended heartfelt congratulations for his future success. In this impressive and proud event, key leaders of the Doon Gujjar Welfare Sabha participated and strongly praised this decision taken by the high command of the Aam Aadmi Party. The office-bearers present stated that handing over the command of the district to a hardworking and grassroots leader like Advocate Sanjeev Chaudhary Chechi has not only filled the party workers with new energy and enthusiasm but will also give greater momentum to public welfare works in the district in the coming times. On this occasion, the senior leader of the Sabha Jivak Kumar Sanju Haripur, Subhash Rampur Roruana, Sohan Lal Chechi, Kohli, and Doctor Khuhi, along with a large number of other prominent office-bearers and local residents, arrived specially and expressed their happiness by offering sweets to the newly appointed District President.
