Karnataka reports two Covid-19 deaths

Bengaluru, (Samajweekly) Karnataka reported two Covid-19 deaths on Monday, an official said here.
“A 65-year-old male patient from Bengaluru was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases on Sunday. He died on Monday,” a health official told IANS.

He said the man had tested positive for Covid-19.

This was Karnataka’s eighth Covid-19 death. Further details and are awaited.

Earlier on Monday, a 55-year-old man from Kalaburagi with severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) died of Covid-19, registering the state’s seventh such death.

“A 55-year-old man from Kalaburagi with SARI passed away from coronavirus,” a health official said.

He was designated as the 205th Covid-19 positive case in the state.
