New Delhi, One person has been rescued and admitted to hospital even as operations are underway to extricate the second person still trapped in a building which collapsed in CR Park locality in south Delhi on Sunday.
However, uncertainty surrounds the condition of Tapan Mandal who was rescued around 5 p.m. and admitted to hospital.
The second person who remains trapped under the debris of the under-construction building, has been located and rescue workers are confident of rescuing him soon.
At least two persons were feared trapped after a house collapsed in south Delhi’s C.R. Park area on Sunday, fire officials said.
“Five fire tenders have been rushed to the site,” said Delhi Fire Services Chief Atul Garg earlier.
