New Delhi, The Congress on Saturday released a list of 18 Lok Sabha candidates, fielding Deepender Singh Hooda from Rohtak, former Union Minister Kumari Selja from Ambala and Ashok Tanwar from Sirsa.
The party has fielded Shruti Chaudhary from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Captain Ajay Singh Yadav from Gurgaon and Lalit Nagar from Faridabad.
Hooda, son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, is a sitting MP from Rohtak. Selja, a former Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, had contested the 2014 election from Ambala but lost.
Tanwar is also being fielded again from Sirsa and Chaudhary from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh.
The party also declared three candidates for Madhya Pradesh — Dewasish Jararia from Bhind, Ashok Singh from Gwalior and Dinesh Girwal from Dhar.
In UP, the party has nominated R.K. Chaudhary from Mohanlalganj, Ummed Singh Nishad from Ambedkar Nagar, Krishna Patel from Gonda, Raj Kishore Singh from Basti, Rajesh Mishra from Salempur, Devvrata Mishra from Jaunpur, Ajit Pratap Kushwah from Ghazipur, Shiv Kanya Kushwah from Chandauli and Rama Kant Yadav from Bhadohi.
