620 test positive in J&K’s highest single day Covid spike

Jammu, (Samajweekly) An alarmingly high number of 620 people tested positive on Sunday in J&K, taking as the total number of Covid-19 patients in the Union Territory above 4,000.

A statement issued by the Information and Public Relations Department said there were 37 cases in Jammu division and 583 in Kashmir division, taking the the total number of to 4,087.

So far, 41 patients have succumbed to the dreaded virus while 1,216 have recovered completely recovered.

The number of active cases in J&K is now 2,830, out of which 684 are in Jammu division and 2,146 are in Kashmir division.
