11 killed in Maharashtra accident

Dhule (Maharashtra)  Eleven people were killed and 23 injured in a head-on collision between a container truck and a state transport bus, police said here on Monday.

The crash took place late on Sunday near Neemgul village, according to Dhule Control Room official A.L. Patil.

“The bus was headed to Aurangabad when the collision took place on the Shahada-Dondaiche Road. The drivers of both vehicles were killed,” Patil told IANS.

The toll was expected to increase as the condition of at least three was said to be serious.
