Tettenhall Regis Ward, City of Wolverhampton – The Conservative Party has once again been voted to represent the residents of Tettenhall Regis in the local council elections. Councillor Udey Singh, Councillor Sohail Khan, and new candidate Councillor Bob Maddox were able to retain and win their seats with a majority vote.

(Samajweekly) Councillor Udey Singh expressed his gratitude towards the residents of Tettenhall Regis for their trust and support. He thanked the campaign team for their tireless efforts that paid off in the end. As a city councillor, he promised to continue representing the ward and holding the Labour-led council accountable. Councillor Singh highlighted that the council has held a vice-like grip over all key aspects of the city for the last 40 plus years and he would work towards bringing positive changes for the residents.
Councillor Sohail Khan, who retained his seat, stated that the result was a product of several years of hard work in the ward. He thanked the residents for their continued support and promised to work even harder to address their concerns.
Councillor Bob Maddox, who is new to the council, expressed his delight at joining the team and looked forward to working for the residents of Tettenhall Regis. He promised to listen to their concerns and work towards finding solutions to the issues that matter to them.
The voter turnout for the ward was a respectable 33.4%, which is higher than many other wards across the city. Councillor Singh stated that this was a testament to the residents’ commitment to their community and their desire to make their voices heard.
The Conservative Party’s victory in Tettenhall Regis Ward is a positive development for the residents, as it ensures continued representation and accountability for the ward. The councillors’ commitment to the community and their willingness to work towards finding solutions to the issues faced by the residents will undoubtedly lead to positive changes in the future.
