PLEDGE ON DR.BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR’S 133rd BIRTH ANNIVERSARY – 14th April, 2024
TO SAVE INDIA, THERE IS NO OPTION OTHER THAN I.N.D.I.A.

“Elections are also about the future- the pledges that we are making for this country. For those who care about equality and fairness in the UK, and beyond, Labour really is the only choice” said Anne Campbell, British academic and author and this needs to be adopted for India and I.N.D.I.A is the only choice before us in the current context.
“We pledge ourselves to liberate all our people from the continuing bondage of poverty, deprivation, suffering, gender and other discrimination.”

To the above quote, keeping in mind the hostile situation prevailing in India afflicted with the monstrous casteism and religious fanaticism, I would like to make contextual additions: ‘…..hatred, religious fanaticism, superstitions, casteism, sanatanism, fascism, crony capitalism, and the ongoing calculated exploitation of the poor masses with an ulterior and malicious aim of fattening just a few individuals only to suppress, oppress and subjugate the billions of Indian Bahujans by pushing them back to 1000 years.’
Enraged over the Constitution having been crippled and overshadowed by the Sanatanic forces, Dr. B.R.Ambedkar said that he would be the first person to burn the Constitution and it is worthy to read the relevant portions of the Rajya Sabha Debates on 19.03.1955:
“Dr.B.R.Ambedkar: We built a temple for a god to come in and reside, but before the god could be installed if the devil had taken possession of it, what else could we do except destroy the temple? We did not intend it to be occupied by the Asuras. We intended it to be occupied by the Devas. That is the reason why I said I would rather like to burn it.”
K.P.Sinha: Destroy the devil rather than the temple.”
In the current situation, the best ideal option is to destroy the devil and save the temple- the Constitution which is the temple of democracy.
Individuals, Groups of Organizations/Associations, Political parties etc. used to take a pledge on different occasions for different goals. But the PLEDGE to be taken on 14.04.2024, the 133rd Birth Anniversary of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Messiah of every citizen of India who loves his country as much as he loves himself, is and should be something unique for saving the Motherland from the disastrous consequences that are in the offing worse than the last 10 years under the fascist regime led by Mr.Narendra Damodardas Modi, the personification of hatred, inhumanness, crony-capitalism and sadism over the sufferings and death of the marginalized and minorities, helpless, hapless and sapless people of this great country.
Irrespective of political affiliations, all the true citizens who are having unswerving loyalty to the country need to take a pledge to redeem the country from the hands of the fascists.
Let us all Pledge to stamp out, root-out and overthrow the fascist forces from the power!
Let us all Pledge to vote out the fascist forces under Mr.N.D.Modi with our powerful ballots!
Let us unitedly identify ourselves with a single question as to who/which is the current and deadliest enemy of the country!
Let us resolve to save our Dying Democracy from the devils preaching one thing and practising the other thing!
Let us save the FRIGHTENED JUDICIARY from the brutal political executive!
Let us vote for the I.N.D.I.A Alliance to save INDIA from the dictatorial hands!
Let us think and realize the prophetic and invaluable quote of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar: “ONE MAN, ONE VOTE and ONE VOTE, ONE VALUE” and cast our Votes WISELY to throw out the VICES!
Let us recall and recite every day the prophetic words of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar:
Let us not fall a prey to the general criticism that all political parties/ politicians are devils but to choose a better devil among the worst devils, if at all, we have to satisfy ourselves.
Let us remember the bitter but powerful truth: “No Politics, No Power” Hence, let us NOT shun the politics or else we will lose ourselves and our next generations!
The future of our children and grandchildren is a deadly question mark! Let us change it into an exciting exclamatory mark by throwing out the power-intoxicated fascists!
We, all the Indians, have only two options before us: JUSTICE, LIBERTY, EQUALITY AND FRATERNITY on the one side. FASCISM OR HITLERISM on the other side! Let us pledge ourselves to choose the FIRST because it is the only BEST option to save India from its perils.
Let us resolve to NOT see any more dastardly Hathras, Unnaos, Manipurs, etc in India!
Let us NOT waste our votes by choosing NOTA because NOTA is an indirect Vote for the Fascist forces! NOTA may or may not be a strength to Fascism but it is certainly a weakness for the ostracized Democracy! Let us remember the truth that every Vote counts and every Vote matters!
Let us pledge ourselves on this occasion to
- SAVE OUR CONSTITUTION which will in turn SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY and the democratic pillars, viz., Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, Press/Media from the onslaughts of the fascism!
Choose between SECURITY and INSECURITY not just for ourselves alone but for our future generations who will spit on our faces and curse us, if we are inactive and insensitive today.
Let us seriously ponder over: OUR CONSTITUTION, which has been silently and systematically unconstitutionalized over the last 10 years, is our BREATH lest we will become breathless with the Sanatanism and Fascism suffocating and overwhelming the sacred Constitution!
Let everyone of us be wise enough to understand that the Pledge we are taking is contextual and the need-based! LET US TAKE THE ABOVE PLEDGE AND ACT!
