In Conversation with Mr Abbas Milhem on crisis in Palestine and its farmers

(Samaj Weekly)

Dear Friends,

Sharing this conversation of mine with Mr Abbas Milhem, Executive Director, Palestine Farmers Union, Ramallah, West Bank, Palestine. I had been trying to speak with him for long but knew that the situation was difficult as well as extremely painful. He explains about the crisis and the conditions of the farmers there. Most of the time, we hear the other experts who are based outside Palestine. The issue of Palestinian farmers have rarely been raised. On most of the international forums and media, there is a time limit and attempt to push the narrative. Therefore, you need to have patience with persons who face the crisis.
We hope the people of Palestine get justice and peace will prevail. All international institutions must work to bring peace and settlement of the issue.
Our solidarity.
