Srinagar, Gunfights started in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama and Kulgam districts on Tuesday, police said.
Following specific inputs about presence of militants, security forces surrounded Redwani village in Kulgam, while a cordon and search operation was on in Hafoo village in Tral area of Pulwama.
Gun battles were underway in both places.
