Bengal’s Covid death toll rises to 20

Kolkata, (Samajweekly) The Covid-19 death toll rose to 20 in West Bengal on Sunday with a government appointed doctors’ committee pronouncing the cause of death of two more persons as due to the viral infection, the state Health Department said.

As per a bulletin issued by the department, the total number of active cases now stand at 461, while 205 persons are in hospital isolation. 105 corona virus positive persons have recovered completely in the state.

As many as 10,893 samples have been tested for Covid 19 in Bengal.

According to the Central government, 611 people have been detected with the disease in the state since its outbreak.
